Title: Knowledge application for preparing engineering high school teachers.
    Authors: Tseng, Kuo-Hung;Wu, Ming-Chang;Hou,See-Chien

Abstract: Educators view knowledge as their most valuable resource. For many
years, researchers have been suggesting that preparing engineering high school
teachers should use information and communication technologies to facilitate
learning, critical thinking, and discussions. Therefore, the main subject of this
research is to develop new applications and capabilities of knowledge management
(KM) technologies to support the digital capture, storage, retrieval, and
distribution of explicitly teacher-documented knowledge. The research data
were gathered by using literature reviews and self-evaluated questionnaires filled
out by teachers. Participants who join the study should consider the knowledge
application (KA) platform as a useful tool, and consequently, the knowledge
platform revealed that its potential development to the teacher when it was implemented
appropriately. In addition, after the questionnaire survey, the participants
demonstrated positive and affirmative attitudes towards the KA platform.
