    Abstract: 「通識教育」,又稱「全人教育」,可說是以健全個人主體為起點,進而與社會人群,乃至自然環境和諧互動的教育內涵。今日技職教育,不再只是「術」的訓練,也要重視「道」的涵養,達到「道術合一」的效果;換言之,不僅要求專門技術的分項學習,也要顧及個人身心以及個人與社會人群、自然環境和諧整合的全人(通識)教育。
    五專「國文」教學,基於「道術合一」的理念,不僅須加強形音義辨正、成語解說、修辭技巧、落實作文教學等「術」的基本語文能力訓練;也要培養學生生命體悟、情意感受、倫理規範、待人處世之「道」,讓專業技能之外,增添人文的涵養、道德的淬鍊、心靈的提升,使學生不只是一位專業人士,也能成為具有豐富人文素養的現代公民。
