Abstract:	在本實驗中，我們以中藥知母作為抗氧化活性試驗篩選，並比較不同萃取溶劑下，抗氧化活性的差異，抗氧化活性試驗的評估方法包括清除α,α-diphenyl-β-picrylhydrazyl（DPPH）自由基、螯合亞鐵能力（Chelating activity on ferrous ion）與還原能力( Reducing power test )測定，並配合總多酚類含量( Total phenolic compound content ) 測定。經實驗結果顯示知母水萃取物具有最明顯的清除DPPH 自由基能力，其IC50 值為0.11±0.01mg/ml，並具有最高的總多酚含量，其值為12.56mg GA/g。因此，知母水萃取物具有優異的抗氧化能力，具有在保健食品和化妝品工業上應用與開發之潛力。
