Abstract:	本研究目的在探討肺癌病人之生理症狀困擾之盛行率與發生率及其與癌症期別間之關係，採用前瞻性之世代描述性研究設計，整個研究過程以立意取樣，選取台灣南部某醫學中心胸腔內科病房入住之肺癌病人共 120人為研究對象。研究過程使用結構式紀錄表，內容包括個人基本屬性(如人口學特性與癌症狀況)及症狀有無發生，進行資料收集。本研究結果證實過去研究報告肺癌病人的疲憊、呼吸困難、口乾、疼痛、咳嗽、食慾不振等是常見生理症狀困擾，發生率及盛行率大於50％，而症狀困擾與生活品質為重要影響因素，癌症分期所致生理困擾不同且是預測肺癌病人預後最強因子。研究結果除了知悉肺癌病人生理困擾之現況，更可提供作為爾後研擬生理症狀困擾護理措施及衛教方式之參考依據，未來將有助於健康照顧方向實證性指引及參考，增加護理專業知識及臨床實務之應用，以提高病人整體生活品質，以達全人照護及善終理念。
