Abstract:	東方女性以美白為首要的美容需求，認為膚色白皙為美的最高境界。肌膚的黑色素之形成機制與酪胺酸酶活性有極大關聯性，而此生成路徑又與氧化還原機制相關。此外，氧化自由基的傷害，被認為是皮膚老化機制的重要殺手。過去研究顯示抗氧化效果強的藥材，其美白效果表現也較佳。傳統中藥典籍記載許多服之輕身益氣好顏色之藥材，因此本研究結果顯示中草藥複方，50%之酒精粗萃取物在酪胺酸脢活性抑制試驗、總還原能力測定、DPPH 自由基清除試驗、螯合亞鐵離子能力試驗、多酚含量測試，表現均比 95%酒精、純水萃取之表現更好。惟延遲時間測試結果，三種粗萃物的效果皆不好，未來會進行人體皮膚試驗以更進一步證實其美白功效。
