Abstract:	本試驗進行向日葵(Helianthus annuus)之花瓣、種子、根、莖及葉子各部位萃取物對三種細菌:大腸桿菌(Escherichia coli)、金黃色葡萄球菌(Staphylococcus aureus)、痤瘡桿菌(Propionibacterium acnes)之抑菌試驗，結果發現向日葵各部位中以花瓣之甲、乙醇萃取物對三種菌具有最佳之抑菌效果，花瓣之萃取物對痤瘡桿菌之抑菌圈為：乙醇(3mm)>甲醇(1.66mm)>水(0mm)。根據去汙力試驗比較結果：自製向日葵肥皂(97.67%)>南王肥皂(市售)(97.19%)>摩登肥皂(市售)(96.55%)>水(88.82%)，故自製向日葵肥皂不亞於一般市售肥皂之去污能力。
