Abstract:	Flaccidoxide 是從脈指型軟珊瑚中所萃取出之活性成分，研究其抑制膀胱癌細胞增生及活化細胞凋亡途徑。由目前研究結果可以發現，利用MTT 分析膀胱癌細胞(RT4, T24)發現該化合物對於膀胱癌細胞抑制效果顯著，後續經由細胞群落分析，發現flaccidoxide 確實具有抑制膀胱癌細胞的效果，並在兩株癌細胞上均看到相同的結果，顯示Flaccidoxide可能控制了某條訊息傳遞來達到抑制之效果。目前研究推測 Flaccidoxide 誘導細胞凋亡可能與粒線體凋亡功能(mitochondrial death function) 造成細胞色素C釋放至細胞質中，並且活化caspase-3/-9, Bax and Bad 以及抑制Bcl-2/Bcl-xL/Mcl-1表現量，另外Flaccidoxided也可能透過內質網壓力(ER stress) 引發細胞凋亡訊息，因此目前研究結果推測Flaccidoxide可透過多重路徑去誘導膀胱癌細胞凋亡。
