摘要: Our goal is to investigate indoor and outdoor levels of PM2.5Σ14PBDEs in central and southern Taiwan. The mean concentrations of PM2.5 PBDEs in industrial sites (Taixi and Mailiao) were 169 pg/m3and 54.5 pg/m3.Mean concentrations of PM2.5PBDEs in urban areas (Xitun, Douliu, and Tainan) of 74.3 pg/m3, 76.3 pg/m3, and 53.0 pg/m3were relatively similar to those of the rural areas (Hengchun and Meinong), 74.3pg/m3 and 51.0 pg/m3. In comparison with other outdoor locations, the industrial sites, Taixi especially, had the highest PM2.5PBDEs levels which might accounted for nearby industrial activities and indoor to outdoor migration behaviors. The mean concentrations of PM2.5PBDEs in the indoor air (libraries, rail stations, department stores, offices, hospitals, and supermarkets) were detected to be 357 pg/m3, 35.3 pg/m3, 50.2 pg/m3, 73.2 pg/m3, 59.2 pg/m3, and 124 pg/m3, respectively. The high indoor PM2.5 PBDEs levels found in libraries are predominantly affected by the presence of indoor electronic equipment. Similarly, this is also true for supermarkets due to the electronic consumer products. It can be considered as an important source of PM2.5PBDEs forthe indoor environment to the outdoor environment. Nona-BDEs primarily accounted for 11.6% in the indoors while tri-and tert-BDEs accounted for 11.3% and 16% in the outdoors. It is more likely for higher brominated PBDEs due to their emission from electronic surfaces while lower brominated PBDEs are products of photochemical degradation. Therefore, migration behaviors is also a main factor in
both the indoor and outdoor air PM2.5PBDE homologue levels.
