Abstract:	背景：肥胖是胃食道逆流的危險因素，也是巴瑞特氏食道症和食道癌的危險因素，而身體質量指數和腰臀比例增加與巴瑞特氏食道症有關。胃食道逆流疾病得到巴瑞特氏食道症的機率有3.15倍。目的：在亞洲國家中，巴瑞特氏食道症的患病率和危險因素尚不清楚，而肥胖與巴瑞特氏食道症之間缺乏正相關之研究。因此本研究主要探討巴瑞特氏食道症之流行病學與危險因子。方法：本研究為回溯性資料之橫斷性研究設計(cross-sectional study design)，收集高雄市某區域醫院消化內科病患病歷資料為研究對象。利用病歷資料個人基本資料、生活習慣、身體理學檢查數據進行資料處理。巴瑞特氏食道症定義以消化內科專科醫師判定為定義。以邏輯斯迴歸分析評估各種可能危險因子與巴瑞特氏食道症的關係。
