    Abstract: 許多研究皆顯示太極拳對年長者是很優良的運動。太極拳不受場地限制、容易持續練習,幫助氣血循環,是少見的全方位運動,而且無年齡限制。但是太極拳是一種武術,還是可能造成常見的膝蓋受傷,或大腿、腰部肌肉拉傷等運動傷害。因此研究者建議年長者可以透過練習簡易太極拳運動,例如六手太極功,具有養生、健身的功效,可以達到促進銀髮族身心健康和疾病預防效益且可避免運動傷害的發生。
