On July 11, 2006, Vietnam has officially become the 150th member of the World Trade Organization (WTO). The event of entering WTO can bring significant changes in all aspects. For business environment, more important, the WTO as a driving force for internal reform within both the macro aspect, including – trading mechanisms and management policies, legal framework and the micro aspect as market orientation. From the above, the state-owned enterprises (SOEs) ownership transferring and diversifying are established and a great deal developed. SOEs renovation (renewal) is an objective requirement. Because of competitive pressure, for its existence and development, for the necessary of implementing the role of SOEs, it is necessary to renovate, restructure these SOEs. With the aim of supporting the leaders of state enterprises understand the importance of implementing equitization in District 7 of HCM City in particular and the country in general; The study’s goals is exploring the awareness of the equalized State enterprises (SE) leaders on SE’ condition, renewal, concerns, and equitization effectiveness and then, providing recommendations on solving these issues. This study has implemented with questionnaires sent to 64 equitized SEs in District 7, in Ho Chi Minh City. The results show that equitized SEs leaders all satisfied by the transforming. Moreover, some relationships between demographic factors and satisfaction level were discovered and recommended to promote the equitization implementation schedule.
