    Abstract: 本文的主要目的在藉由探討後殖民論述觀點,來分析台灣鄉土語言的沿革、鄉土語言課程實施的意義和闡述對課程實施的未來之展望。首先探討後殖民論述的內涵與觀點,包括三巨擘Edward. W. Said、Gayatri C. Spivak、Homi K. Bhabha等的後殖民理論,接著探究台灣語言教育的發展歷程,然後藉由鄉土語言教育課程建構多元文化環境的可能性,最後以後殖民論述思維觀點展望其建構本土化與全球化的對話。希望對於鄉土語言課程實施意義的詮釋與分析,會在這種多重語言與權力交錯中獲得文化的
    理解與的主體定位,讓語言間不僅彼此是平等對話(dialogue),而是多語言的多方交談(conversation),進而得到溝通與信任。
